I can't believe it was two years ago that Ethan joined our little family. It seems like it's gone so fast, but on the other hand I can't remember what it was like without him. Eric and I made a Thomas cake for him. Eric did most of the carving, I made the face and did most of the frosting (which was a lot harder than I thought it would be) It was all worth it when Ethan saw it and said with giddy excitement "Choo Choo!"
In the morning we took him to Toys R Us and let him run around and play. If you let him, he can run around for hours going from toy to toy pushing buttons and dancing. For dinner we ended up going to a friends house for a barbecue, so we turned it into a mini birthday party. Then we went home and opened a few more presents. I think he had a pretty good day. Glad to here about your condo rental!
Wish we could have celebrated with you guys, but it sounds like he will get to re-celebrate in a week or two with the rest of us!
