25 Weeks

Baby Update...

Ava's made her first crawling motions today. She's practicing every chance she gets. Zach is getting up on his knees and forearms once in a while, but he's not as interested in moving as Ava is. And that's just fine with me. I think Zach is working on a tooth, but I have no evidence of it except that he is not sleeping like his usual self.Ava can't handle the flash, but Zach looks happy

Workout Baby

Ever since Ava saw this picture she's been working on her push up.
She's almost there. She's so competitive...

Happy Birthday Ethan!

He's been dressing up like daddy a lot lately, so he loved his new doctor kit.
Here he is checking the blood pressure on his new race car.

He was so excited about his "Lellow" Firetruck cake, it made my dye stained fingers and mess of a kitchen totally worth it.

More snapshots for Grandma

Ava will not be ignored!

Zach's been practicing his drooling.
Ava's been practicing touching her tongue to her nose.
Here's Ethan at this age. I think he looks like a cross between the two of them.

4 months already!

I can't believe it's been a month since I blogged last. The babies are growing fast and are becoming so much fun. We had their 4month check up today. Ava is above the 95th percentile in weight and is 90th in everything else. Zach is above the 95th for height and 90th for weight and head. So Zach is extra tall and Ava is extra chunk.

Here are a few pictures I've taken this month that I find amusing.
Our air conditioning went out a few weeks ago and we had to wait in the 88 degree house for the guy to come fix it. So, we all hung out in the front room with the fans blowing on us and played with play dough. I made a Mickey Mouse head for Ethan and he finished the rest. The pink dot at the bottom is a toe of course. I love it!
My sister Andrea came to visit/help for a week and we got to go to the museum to see the dinosaur exhibit. The dinosaurs were robotic and moved and growled very realistically. Ethan was not very comfortable. It was a little unnerving even for me if I stood too close.
We thought he'd like the baby triceratops, but I guess a baby triceratops is still a little freaky to a 3 year old.

Ava was in a particularly cranky mood after church, but I wanted a picture of her in her dress. This is the best shot.
