It's a Boy!....and a Girl!

I had the ultrasound this morning. Everything looks good so far. Baby A was being pretty difficult and wouldn't move around so the tech looked at Baby B first. He is always moving a lot, and we could tell right away that he's a boy. She still couldn't get a great shot of Baby A so I had to move around a lot to get her to start kicking. She tried for a long time, then finally Eric said "oh Audrey I think you're going to get your wish" the tech had finally gotten a good shot and she agreed that it is a girl. whew! I am so excited. I got a little nervous when the first one was a boy. The thought of having 3 little Ethan's running around kind of makes my blood pressure rise. I really wanted one of each. I don't know a lot about child psychology, but I figure Ethan won't feel left out because he'll have the boy thing in common with Baby B. And Baby A will have the twin thing in common with Baby B. So they can all bond and be happy, well adjusted children. (one could hope)

So congrats to all who guessed right. Go out and buy yourself a prize. I know my parents are going out tonight to celebrate the news. (any excuse, right?)

That's brilliant Audrey! At least one of your children (i.e. your girl) should sit still in sacrament meeting:) I have to admit, this is my most difficult hour of the week because Nate's on the stand and can't help keep the boys still. I still take the stroller into the chapel to corral them. I'm thrilled for you - you're going to be a wonderful mum of twins plus one! I'm sure you're getting more advice than you want/need, but I'm here if you ever want to chat.

How exciting--congratulations! I think that's what I would hope for too. I'm glad things are progressing smoothly so far! Oh, and I somewhat understand the disappointment with the bunny . . . Abby's pet crawdads (crayfish) died yesterday. Such is life, I guess!

Congratulations babe! I am so excited I can send you some of my girly clothes. Also, you won't have to worry about telling them apart. I would be nervous about getting them mixed up.

Yay I was right!

Haha--Ellen--I had the same thought! I've always thought that if I had twins that were the same gender I'd mix them up and ruin their lives...

:) I'm so excited for you Audrey!! Congratulations!

Congrats! I like the friend/buddy logic. Except that the boys might be jealous of the princess!

This is so exciting! A boy and a girl - how very Hollywood of you! :) I am so happy for you (and, admittedly, a little jealous, too). It doesn't get any better than this! Hope you are feeling great!

Hugs!

It's nice to have atleast one of each I bet. I have three girls; ages 4, 2, and 9 months. Things are going to get mighty ugly in 10 years or so.

By the way, you need to check out my blog because it involves you!
