Sandcastle Fun

We  went to the beach this past weekend. The kids had a great time building this awesome castle. They loved to jump into the moat and splash all the water out. But we all agreed our favorite thing was destroying it at the end.

Happy Birthday Zach and Ava!

Zach and Ava turned 2 yesterday.  They are growing so fast.

This year I wasn't feeling up to making elaborate cakes, so I just made 2 little cakes: Mickey Mouse and pink flowers. They loved them.

(We got 2 cake platters for our wedding and now 7 years later I finally have an excuse to use them both.)

We went to chick fil-a for dinner

We are so happy to have these little guys in our home. They bring so much joy to our lives.

Fun at the Zoo

The zoo has a new dinosaur exhibit. We went to check it out last week.

Ethan didn't like standing so close to them. They were growling a little to loudly for him.

This was taken last month when my mom came to visit/help while Eric was in D.C. for the month.

She took us on the Zoo train. It was so fun. Thanks Grandma.

We got to build a snowman! We had such a fun time playing in the snow.

Ethan and Ava loved throwing snowballs.

This is only on Ethan's list of favorite things (which was a shock because he has been afraid of going on the airplane since we bought the tickets months ago). He loved it. Here he his feeling a little apprehensive as we checked in in Jacksonville.

Our most favorite part of the week was spending time with our family. We had a lot of fun and we miss you so much!
